Colorado's Orwellian Crackdown on Free Speech Begins

As millions of people wake up to the insanity of wokeism and cultural Marxism, the Left is in a state of desperation. But rather than repent of their radicalism, they've decided to double down on it. After being foiled in their plot to kidnap children from loving parents who refuse to bow down and worship at the altar of wokeness, Colorado Democrats have officially passed a law suspending the First Amendment rights of millions of Colorado citizens by effectively criminalizing criticism of gender ideology. Today on The Conservative Rebel, as millions of people continue to wake up to the insanity of wokeism and cultural Marxism, the left is in a state of desperation. But rather than repent of their radicalism, they've decided to double down on it. After being foiled in their plot to kidnap children from loving parents who refuse to bow down and worship at the altar of wokeness, Colorado Democrats have officially passed a law, suspect You won't want to miss today's episode of The Conservative Rebel. As wokeness continues to be discredited and millions of people wake up to the insanity of gender ideology, there's been a temptation among many on the right to say we've won. Wokeness is dead. Especially with the victory of President Trump in last year's election, the cultural Marxists are allegedly slipping back into the shadows they came from. That's been the narrative. But we must resist that temptation. Because not only is wokeness not dead, the woke left has become even more bold, even more ruthless, even more shameless and embittered and just evil than ever before. And if you want proof of this fact, look no further than the state of Colorado, where the supposedly moderate Democrat governor, Jared Polk, who is himself gay, proudly signed a law suspending the First Amendment rights of millions of Coloradoans by outlawing criticism of gender ideology. Specifically, it legally defines so-called misgendering and deadnaming as acts of discrimination, effectively criminalizing those who refuse to bow down and worship at the altar of wokeism. Now we have seen some insane things come out of Colorado, especially regarding gender ideology. You might remember, for example, the Christian owner of a bakery who was dragged all the way to the Supreme Court by two narcissists who wanted to destroy his life because he refused to sell a cake for a gay so-called wedding. Fortunately, that guy won in the end, but it's still insane that he had to go through all of that turmoil and stress because he didn't sell someone a pastry. You may also remember the web designer, also from Colorado, who was also dragged all the way to the Supreme Court because she did not want to be forced to make websites promoting so-called gay marriage and gay weddings against her will. And fortunately, the Supreme Court also sided with her in the end. But this is something altogether different than these cases. The government of Colorado is becoming a Norwellian thought police that punishes anyone who dares to speak out against gender ideology. The Washington Times reports, quote, enough to avoid a free speech lawsuit. A host of parental rights groups sued Monday to block the law known as House Bill 1312, arguing it violates the First and Fourteenth Amendments by adding deadnaming and misgendering to the list of punishable offenses under the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act. Quote, the law was passed for the very purpose of suppressing traditional views on sex and gender and punishing those who refuse to address transgender-identifying individuals using so-called chosen names and preferred pronouns, said the lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for Colorado. Bringing the lawsuit were Defending Education, the Colorado Parent Advocacy Network, Protect Kids Colorado, and Do No Harm. Colorado can't seem to stop losing at the Supreme Court on constitutional challenges to its anti-discrimination laws, said Sarah Partial Perry, Defending Education Vice President. And yet, Governor Polis has nevertheless signed another patently unconstitutional iteration of its Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, something that can only be described as an exercise of remarkable hubris. The law muzzles parents, doctors, and associations alike if they fail to hew to the government's profound gender orthodoxy. So, obviously, this is an insane, delusional, communist piece of legislation. But as terrible as all this is, it originally defined so-called deadnaming and misgendering as acts of coercive control that would justify the state kidnapping children from their parents to be raised by abusers who encourage their delusions. That's right. These absolutely soulless demons were originally plotting to tear families apart and seize the children of loving parents in the name of transgenderism. That was in this bill. But so many parents rose up in righteous fury at the thought that their kids could be ripped from them because they refused to use fake pronouns. So many parents rose up that these reptiles were forced to sliver backward just a few inches and remove that particularly Stalinist part of the bill. They repented of none of it. The types of people who not only want to mutilate and castrate and sterilize your kids, but also steal them from you if you dare to breathe a word of protest, are incapable of any genuine form of remorse or repentance, obviously. But they were forced to make concession for the sake of their political careers. But unfortunately, no one could stop them from getting the rest of this insane agenda codified into state law. No one could stop them from suspending the constitutional right of free speech so crossdressers and drag queens won't get their feelings hurt. Just in time for Pride Month, so they can exult in their triumph as they parade through the streets half-naked in front of kids in a few weeks. With the passing of this law, wokeism is now the state religion of Colorado. And as Matt Walsh and others have pointed out in numerous books and commentaries, the god of liberalism is the self. Everything is about me and my feelings and my self-esteem and my ego. That is the liberal religion. You are the god. And I'm so special and I'm so important that I can negate the most basic and inescapable realities of human existence, because I just don't like them. Truth is whatever I want it to be. This is what wokeism is, and everyone is entitled to live in their own little delusional bubbles of self-worship and glorification, where he is the center of the universe, the be-all end-all, the final arbiter of truth. All that matters is that you feel good. Nothing is required of you, you have no moral obligations except to be tolerant and accepting of everyone and everything and to never judge. Which, if you think about it, isn't even a moral obligation at all, because all you have to do to be tolerant and accepting is to be totally apathetic and detached from the world. You have to sacrifice nothing, you have to go through no pain to be tolerant and accepting and non-judgmental. And the mutual understanding of leftists in Colorado and everywhere else is that everyone is supposed to stay in his own little private universe of narcissism and egomania and self-worship and not intrude into the universes of other people by judging them for their sins or the terrible choices they're making. or for daring to suggest that there might be an objective truth or objective moral laws that exist apart from you and your feelings and that are binding upon you. Because criticism or judgment of other self-worshipping individuals is criticism and a judgment against the gods of the state. If you dare to oppose wokeism or transgenderism in particular, you have committed an act of unfairness And already, the thought police in Colorado, hot on the heels of this insane law, are claiming their first victims. They have already begun the process of persecuting those who do not practice the heathen religion of wokeism, you'd think that Colorado would be focusing on reversing the crime wave brought about by illegal immigration. The Venezuelan drug gang Trendy Aragua literally took over an entire apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado just a few months ago before Trump stopped them. They might be focused on tackling rampant homelessness and drug abuse that are big problems in many cities. But if you thought that, you'd be wrong. Sure, Coloradoans are being murdered and robbed and victimized. Sure, drugs and vagrancy are making some of its cities filthy and almost unlivable cesspools. But the government of Colorado didn't let these minor inconveniences distract them from the true public safety threat facing their state. A Christian summer camp. KDVR, a Fox affiliate based in Denver, reports, He filed a lawsuit last week that seeks to, quote, It requested, it requested, it had to request that the government give them permission to keep boys out of girls' bathrooms. It had to beg for the privilege to protect girls from abuse and exploitation by letting boys into their bathrooms and into their cabins and into all that stuff, because that's a special privilege in Colorado now, because they've outlawed it. They are forcing people to let boys into the girls' bathrooms and locker rooms and cabins. The camp says it will be inspected for compliance in June or July and will, quote, "...not violate its religious beliefs and exercise and will, and will face revocation or suspension of its license and fines in June." And June, as we all know, is the high holy month of the woke religion. So, just to sum up what we've talked about. Colorado is facing a crime wave. It has been invaded by illegal aliens. There are drug gangs taking over its apartment buildings. But the authorities on Colorado are not focused on that. Instead, the thing keeping them up at night is the terrible thought that boys might not be allowed in girls' bathrooms and in girls' cabins at a Christian summer camp. Their number one priority is making sure that boys can get in the girls' bathrooms. That's what the delusional freaks who run Colorado care the most about. So this is a reminder that wokeism is not dead. Leftists are not slinking back into the shadows. They are becoming bolder than they have ever been before. Colorado proves that this is happening. And yes, while millions of people might be waking up to the insanity of gender ideology, finally, after we went through a mass psychosis for years, where millions of people bought into this and played along with this game, although that might be happening, that's not a sign that liberals are going to retreat. That's a sign that they're going to double down, because as more and more people wake up to how insane the lie that boys can be girls and girls can be boys is, when people begin to realize how deranged and evil it is, to mutilate kids and chop off their body parts and irrevocably castrate and sterilize them and pump them full of synthetic hormones that will take years off of their life. As people wake up to that, they're not going to retreat, they're not going to apologize, they're not going to say they're sorry. Because they will not abandon this lie. This is their religion. This is the thing that infuses meaning into their miserable existence. This religion, its activism, its fighting against alleged oppression by supporting gender ideology and racial Marxist ideology and all of this stuff. So they're not going to repent, they're going to double down, and they're going to do that using force. When they cannot win through reason, when they cannot win through persuasion, when they cannot do that, they will resort to propping up their evil ideology with force. They will resort to cramming it down our throats through the muzzle of a gun. One of the questions that everyone was asking when Trump won the election, was, will the liberals moderate? Will they retreat from their insane positions? Will they try to compromise in an effort to court back normie voters and independent voters? No, instead they've done the opposite. They have become even more radical, even more extreme, and even more authoritarian in their instincts and impulses. Because once you have dedicated yourself so completely to an ideology as these people have, once you have spent years and years and years dedicating your life to it, and as you've encouraged people to mutilate their kids, as you've funded the mass mutilation of kids, and potentially if you've done it to your own kids, You can't just admit to yourself that you were wrong, as many people have pointed out. I'm not the first to say this. But they can't admit to themselves that they were wrong about this. How could they live with themselves? How could they live with themselves if they admitted that... They had been doing these horrendously evil things to kids if they admitted to themselves that they had been abusing and indoctrinating and harming kids in totally monstrous and... insane and unprecedented ways. They can't admit that to themselves. So for the sake of their own egos, for the sake of being able to live with themselves, to protect themselves from any remorse and shame and accountability, they have to restructure their entire states and their governments to propagate the lie that they've totally sold their lives to. Because the consequence are simply too terrible to face if they're wrong it would simply be unbearable for these people to admit that they were wrong so rather than do that they will drag down all of the rest of their governments and all of their people down to the abyss of insanity with them you would almost feel sorry for these people. If what they have done to our country, if what they have done to the children of tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, who knows how many parents, if they have irrevocably harmed all of these kids, if they hadn't done that, you would be tempted to feel sorry for these people. But instead, we need to look at this and say, this is justice. This is what these people deserve. They deserve this shame. They deserve this guilt. They have inflicted so much suffering on others, this is what they deserve. And what this means for the rest of us is we cannot let our guard down. We cannot stop fighting. We cannot stop being active. and alert and involved in politics. We cannot just retire to the sidelines and go sit on our couches and relax and say, oh, Trump's got everything, everything's fine, our guy is in the White House, we're winning. No. Now more than ever, it is important, it is absolutely paramount that we stay alert on the ball here, because as the left gets more and more desperate, they will increasingly turn to authoritarianism, they will increasingly turn to violence. Look what we just saw the other day with the fertility clinic being bombed by that pro-abortion extremist who wanted to cleanse earth from the disease of life, or something like that, as he put it. they will increasingly turn to all of those dark instincts. Look what those parents in Colorado did just by speaking up. They pressured these serpents into taking out the provision in the law that would allow them to kidnap kids. If more of them had been active, they could have stopped this law, probably. If they put enough pressure on their elected representatives, they might have been able to stop this. But they didn't. Not enough of them did. A lot of them tried really hard, and a lot of credit to them. They're heroes for what they did. But not enough of them decided to get involved. Too many of them thought, oh, this doesn't affect me. Too many of them thought, oh, I want to be respectful, and I don't want to be mean to these people, to these child abusers. And so this happened. So as the left becomes more and more vocal and more and more insane and authoritarian, we conservatives need to become more and more vocal and more and more bold in our convictions. We can't let these people scream louder. We can't let these people fight harder. We need to fight fire with fire.
