You're Being Lied Into Another War
As the war between Israel and Iran escalates, bloodthirsty elites in both parties are demanding Trump send Americans to bleed and die in another disastrous Middle Eastern War. And, from all appearances, Trump is eagerly listening to them. This would be a disaster that would tear the MAGA movement in two, kill thousands of innocent people, and do irreparable harm to the country. But millions of Americans have been brainwashed and emotionally blackmailed into cheering on their country's destruction, because of blind loyalty and favoritism toward Israel and blind hatred of its enemies.

Today on The Conservative Rebel, as the war between Israel and Iran escalates, bloodthirsty elites in both parties are pushing Trump to thrust America into another disastrous Middle Eastern war. This would be a calamity that would tear the MAGA movement in two and do irreparable harm to the country. But millions of Americans have been brainwashed and emotionally blackmailed into cheering on this impending bloodbath because of blind loyalty and favoritism toward Israel and blind hatred of its enemies. We'll talk about all of it today on The Conservative Rebel.
The Conservative Rebel:As you've no doubt heard by now, Israel just started a new war in the Middle East by attacking Iran on Friday, launching deadly missile strikes and knocking out several of its top military leaders. Iran very predictably retaliated, as countries tend to do when you launch missiles at their cities and kill members of their military and government, and ever since then the two countries have been raining explosives down on each other, killing innocent civilians on both sides. And it doesn't look like things are going to de-escalate any time soon. The United States, which of course funds Israel, gives them tens of billions of dollars, gives them missiles and military equipment, paid for the attack on Iran, and Trump said that he knew about the attack on Iran in advance. So we are already indirectly involved in a war with Iran. We are now waging a proxy war against yet another country on top of our failed proxy war that we are currently waging against Russia in Ukraine. The only question now is whether it will turn from an indirect proxy war into an all-out war with American boots on the ground and American soldiers dying in the Middle East. And it is certainly looking like that is a very real possibility. Now, when I first heard the news of Israel's attack on Iran, I was shocked just like everyone else. Israel and Iran, who have always gotten along just fine and always been the bestest of buddies as countries go, were fighting each other? Israel and Iran were being mean to each other? I couldn't believe it. And what's more, all of this was happening, I was supposed to believe, in the The famously free, happy, and peace-loving region known as the Middle East, where all the countries have coexisted in perfect, uninterrupted friendship and harmony since time immemorial, I was absolutely stunned. Now, I'm not going to pretend to have any special insight at all into the situation in the Middle East. I'm not going to give you some complex analysis on what's going on because I'm not qualified to do that. What I do know, and what I hope I am qualified to tell you, are the basics. The Middle East is a savage, barbaric, cruel, and merciless hellhole of a region that has been locked in constant turmoil and bloody warfare since approximately forever. It has always been that way, and there is virtually no hope that it will ever be any other way. The good news is that the country you and I live in, the United States of America, the only country on Earth we owe any loyalty or fidelity or allegiance to, the only country on Earth whose interests we should defend and care about, is as far away from that terrible place as you can possibly get before you start to get closer again. We are half a world and an ocean away from the Middle East. We Americans should not have to spend a single second worrying about the latest conflict raging over there, because it's no concern of ours. The people of Israel and Iran can sort their problems out themselves, thank you very much. Or, they can even refuse to sort their problems out. They can keep fighting each other. It might be tragic, but it's none of my business, and it's none of yours either. My country should have nothing to do with it, not only because we don't have any moral right to be the policeman of the world, but also because getting involved can do nothing but harm to America and to Americans. Think of the world as a modern city, like Seattle or Portland or LA or New York or Atlanta or whatever else comes to mind. In most cities, there are some places that are very clean, very rich, very well-managed, very safe. The types of places that you could raise a family in. But there are other types of places in the inner city that are filled with crime and drugs and filth and dysfunction. Places that you would be insane to raise a family in, and that you avoid even going near if you can help it at all. The Middle East is one of those filthy, crime-ridden, vagrant-infested, drug-addled inner-city cesspools, and North America is one of those relatively safe, rich parts of town. It's seen better days, that's for sure, but it's still far safer and richer than other neighborhoods. Our government, trying to get America involved in the Middle East, is like a mom living in one of those nice neighborhoods who decides, for whatever ungodly reason, to take her elementary school-aged kids for a walk past the homeless encampment in the most violent, crime-ridden area of Gotham City she could find. And she does it at 2 a.m. in the morning, stepping over drug needles as police sirens whine and shots ring out near Nothing good could possibly come out of that. Nothing. The mom has nothing to gain, the kids have nothing to gain, and they both have everything to lose by putting themselves in that situation. But because the mom evidently has completely lost her mind, she decided to do it anyway. That's what our interventions in the Middle East are like. The only reason you would endanger America and Americans if you lead the country by involving our country in the Middle East is either because you are insane or because you don't truly have the interests of the United States or its people at heart. Just like those kids and that mom shouldn't have to worry about some drugged-up vagrants slitting their throats because they live in a nice neighborhood, we should not have to worry about Israel or Iran or anywhere else in the Middle East because we live in a civilized country in a civilized part of the world, or at least we used to. But, Worry about those countries is exactly what we've been forced to do for the past 80 years. Why is that? Because our reliably corrupt and evil politicians have been diligently doing everything they possibly can to permanently chain our country to that ticking time bomb of a place. They went out into a dangerous neighborhood looking for trouble, and what do you know, they found it. Normal people see Israel and Iran shooting missiles at each other, and they say, That's horrible. That's tragic. I hope those two countries work things out and stop killing people. I hope they can make peace with each other. War is terrible. Thank God we're not at war like them. When politicians see Israel and Iran shooting missiles at each other, they drool. They say, let's put the United States of America directly in the path of those missiles. Let's send American tax dollars over there to keep this war going as long as we possibly can. And let's look for any excuse we can find to send America's sons and daughters over there to bleed and die for the sake of some foreign country. I don't care how many people die. I don't care how much destruction and suffering and misery it will cause. And to hell with anyone who breathes a word of protest about any of it. Because we can always just call them pro-Putin fascists or anti-Semites or paid agents of Qatar, and then the idiots we govern will ignore what they say and support our war. Now, I've seen a lot of people claim recently that the idea that the United States will go to war with Iran is ridiculous and overblown by fanatics, by anti-Israel fanatics. Of course, we are already indirectly at war with Iran because we fund Israel and we pay for the missiles it shoots at Iran, but people have been saying that there's no way we'll get directly involved. We're not actually going to go to war. We're just going to keep another disastrous proxy war going, that's all. So there's nothing to worry about. They're wrong. If you don't believe that war is a very real possibility, you need to wake up. Here, for example, is Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, who is one of the worst, if not the single worst, elected Republican in the United States, seemingly calling for a full-on US invasion of Iran. This is the same guy who, just a little while ago, strongly implied that the United States should drop a nuclear bomb on Gaza, and he's not the only Republican to ever flirt with that idea either. Anyway, he's got another delusional take, this time on the Iran situation. Listen to Lindsey for a little bit.
Audio Clip:I can guarantee you that if the Ayatollah gives a nuclear weapon, he will use it. I believe that with all my heart and soul. So the men and women who serve, they're the ones going, not people answering the poll. And if you ask them, would you be willing to risk your life to stop the Ayatollah from having a nuclear weapon? All of them would say yes, because it makes their country, our country safer. So we live in a world where you got to confront problems. You want to avoid World War III? Learn the lesson from World War II. People in World War II appeased Hitler to the point that it got so much out of hand. We had a world war and 60 million people got killed. So we live in a world where you pay now or you pay later. Let's stop this threat before he gets a nuclear weapon. Let's end this reign of terror. Let's do it now. It's not going to take 20 months, but I can't guarantee your freedom and your safety unless we're willing to fight for it. I can guarantee you this. If we don't fight for our freedom, we will lose it.
The Conservative Rebel:It's strange to me how these people always try to justify war by saying, World War III will come if we don't go to war. We need to go to war because if we don't, we might end up going to war, is the best argument these people can come up with. Lindsey Graham warns that Iran will imminently attack the United States. It's coming. Iran will be bombing New York or Los Angeles soon, unless we start bombing Iran. Gee, Lindsey, I wonder why Iran might possibly be angry enough with America to attack it. Could that be due to the fact that we have been funding its enemy for 80 years and overthrowing surrounding governments for decades and putting sanctions on it and paying for it to be bombed and paying for its people to be killed? Do you think that might have something to do with it, Lindsay? So the problem, the reason Iran hates us, is obviously because of our interventionist foreign policy. And the solution this genius gives us is more of our interventionist foreign policy. The way to avert war is to go to war. Sane people want to put fire out with water, but Lindsey Graham wants to put it out with gasoline. But Lindsey Graham clearly is not the most cunning and intelligent warmonger on the face of the planet. I think most Americans, even Americans who are very inclined to hate Iran and unconditionally love Israel, would see through this because it's just so stupid. It's so off the charts, so obviously stupid. Anyone can see that. Anyone can see that the way to prevent war is not war. Anyone can see that this is not in the United States' interests at all. But notice this. You do not see these people claim that war with Iran would be in America's interests that often. Sometimes you do, with Lindsey Graham warning about World War III. But they don't really have any solid argument that it's in America's interests. They know it's contrary to America's interests. They know it can do nothing but harm this country. And it would be about as difficult to convince anyone otherwise as it would be to convince someone that 1 plus 1 equals 4. Iran has never attacked us and doesn't pose a threat These people can't name one actual problem in the lives of average, middle-class American families that is related in any way to Iran. They just can't. A far-distant country half of people probably couldn't even find on a map does not affect the lives of Americans at all, and everyone knows it. Instead, the argument they will make is that it benefits Israel. It benefits our ally Israel. So, we need to go to war on behalf of Israel. This is how they justify wars. They say that it is in the benefit of our allies, or in the benefit of the people of another country. So, we need to go to war for their benefit. Here's the thing, though. You were not elected by the people of Israel to represent the interests of Israel. You were not elected by the people of Ukraine to represent the interests of Ukraine. You were elected by Americans to defend the rights and interests of Americans. You serve America, and your sole moral duty is to the people who live in America. Period. End of story. but instead they play on our favoritism. They play on... on our emotions. A lot of people have a very, very strong emotional attachment to Ukraine or to Israel, and a lot of people have a very, very strong negative feeling towards Iran or towards Russia or towards China, and power holders can manipulate those emotions, manipulate those favoritisms, make them worse with propaganda, and use that to emotionally emotionally engineer and emotionally blackmail us into going to a war that is obviously against America's interests. and can do nothing but harm America. And this is what George Washington warned about in his farewell address. A lot of people think that the American way is to defend freedom abroad, that America is exceptional, therefore it has a duty to be the policeman of the world. You have a lot of people who say it's the conservative, pro-American position to go to these endless wars and that anyone who thinks otherwise is some stupid soy latte sipping weed smoking hippie. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Just look at what George Washington, one of the greatest men, one of the greatest conservatives in American history, had to say about this in his farewell address. He understood... exactly what I'm talking about, which is that when you have blind favoritism towards certain nations, you are going to be able to be convinced to go... Here's what he said. the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of republican government but that jealousy to be useful must be impartial or it becomes the instrument of the very influence to be avoided instead of a defense against it One wonders what Washington would have to say to the fanatic pro-Ukraine or pro-Israel partisans that dominate our national discourse. One trembles to think what he would have to say to these people. But we actually don't have to guess what he would have to say to these people, because he made this speech at a time when America was absolutely overrun with pro-British and pro-French partisans who thought we should go to war on behalf of Britain, which was fighting against France during the French Revolution, or that we should go to war on behalf of France, which was fighting against Britain, and ideology in favor totally blinded these people this is the exact same situation we have with Israel we have the pro-Israel fanatics the Palestinian fanatics the Iranian fanatics the Ukrainian fanatics we have all these fanatics running around who have completely dedicated themselves to foreign countries and to foreign peoples and are not dedicated to the United States here's what Washington called these people those Americans who, quote, became popular and got a large following and all of the people with their pom-poms cheering them on, the principled Americans who stood in their way would become hated and shunned. Here's what Washington said. Real patriots who may resist the intrigues of the favorite are liable to become suspected and odious while the favorite nation's tools and dupes usurp the applause and confidence of the people to surrender their interests. It's almost frightening how close this speech is to our country today. Washington is almost describing the modern United States of America. We have seen precisely this. Real patriots like Tucker Carlson, like Candace Owens, Like Thomas Massey, like Rand Paul, like all of these people who have been smeared as anti-Semites, as kooks, as anti-American. That's what Washington was talking about. But these are the real patriots. These are the people who are actually defending the interests of America. These are the people who are speaking out for you, and for your kids, and for your country. The other people, the tools and dupes of the favorite nation, as Washington called them, hate you. That's why they give you all these stupid warnings, all these dumb false prophecies about Iran going to start World War III if we don't go to war with it. This is how they do every single thing. Everything is going to be World War II all over again. I've even seen this... And I'm 16, so I didn't live through the terror wars or anything like that. But this is what they said when Putin attacked Ukraine. Putin is Hitler. He's going to take over Europe. Hasn't happened. Has not happened. And I know from reading history that this is what they told the people when they were going to overthrow Saddam Hussein. He's another Hitler, so we gotta overthrow him or we're gonna have World War III. This is how they justify it. They emotionally manipulate you. They think you are stupid. And that really makes me angry. It makes a lot of people angry. But something that really, really ticks me off is when these morons dare to claim that their pro-war, imperialist, insane foreign policy is the conservative, America-first position. When they smear everyone as woke right, who dares to object to their stupid idiotic ideas. They are lying. Non-interventionism has always been the conservative pro-American position. That's why Washington said, What do we have with Israel? An entangling alliance. We have an alliance that does not serve the United States of America or its interests at all. It is a one-sided relationship. What have we gotten out of this? Ask yourself that. What have we gotten? We send them tens of billions of dollars. We go to war for them. What have we gotten out of that relationship? Nothing. We've gotten nothing. This is one of the entangling alliances Washington warned about. We need to stop going to war on behalf of other countries and focus on our own country for once. And yet we're supposed to think that's a bad thing. We're supposed to think that it's bad and chauvinistic and nationalist and all of these scary words to... To care about our own country and to put its interests first. That's bad. That's greedy. We can't do that. No, not only is it not bad, it is morally required of you. It is a moral requirement that you put your country first. This is an analogy lots of people have used. If there are two kids drowning in a pond, one of them is your kid, one of them is someone else's, you have a moral obligation to save your kid because that is your kid. And that's how it works with foreign countries. You are supposed to put your country first. Why? Because it is your country. It is disordered. It is immoral. It is freakish. It is strange and weird and creepy to be so dedicated to another country that you elevate it over your country, just like it's immoral and creepy and weird if you care about someone else's kid more than your own kid. That's just not the way human beings are supposed to work. And this is the exact same thing we talked about last week when we talked about how all of these immigrants are destroying our culture and destroying our sovereignty and tearing our country apart. We have nothing in common with each other. And we've been convinced to do that by people manipulating our emotions to think that caring about our country first and our culture first and our interests first is a bad thing. That it's selfish. This is the exact same thing they're doing here. They are trying to get us to care more about Ukraine, more about Israel, more about Taiwan, more about all of these places than we care about the United States. It's the most insane, unnatural, and destructive thing ever. This is globalism. And yet you have all of these idiots. Idiots or nefarious people. Some of them are very smart and scheming. So not all of them are stupid. Some of them are just evil. But all these people who are trying to get us to think that it's a liberal, bleeding heart thing to not want to send money to Israel, to not want to fight wars for Israel and stuff like that. It's the conservative position that we must sacrifice No, that's not what's conservative. The conservative position is to care about your family and your community and your country and your people first. That is the conservative position. It is the globalist, socialist, utopian position to try to redirect all of your love and all of your affection away from the ones closest to you and out into this abstraction known as the world. That is not conservatism. Do not believe anything. Anyone who tries to convince you that it's woke right to support the interests of your country, they are lying to you. I want to leave you with this quote by John Quincy Adams. Only of her own. She well knows that by once enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself in all the wars of interest and intrigue, which assume the colors and usurp the standard of freedom. The fundamental maxims of her policy would insensibly change from liberty to force. The frontlet upon her brow would no longer beam with the ineffable splendor of freedom and independence, but instead would soon be substituted with an imperial diadem, flashing in false and tarnished luster the murky radiance of dominion and power. She might become the dictatress of the world. She would no longer be the ruler of her own spirit. With this war with Iran, America faces another choice. Will it go abroad in search of monsters to destroy? Will it protect the liberty of its people, or will it result to the force of empire? Will it entangle itself in another war? preventable, stupid foreign war that has nothing to do with us? Will it send more of America's sons and daughters to die bloody deaths for the sake of a foreign country? Or will it finally put our country and our people first again? That is what America First is supposed to be. That is why the American people elected Donald Trump, and he cannot betray us now by sending us to war with Iran. As many people have said, if he does, that will be the death of MAGA. It will splinter MAGA. The entire movement will be torn in two over foreign policy. This is a make-or-break moment. Will Trump betray the voters who elected him on the promise of no new wars? Will he cave into the neocons who are bloodthirsty and craving another contest, another Middle Eastern war that will drag on for 20 years? Or will he follow what I hope are his instincts and keep America out of this and put our country first? Thanks for listening to today's episode of The Conservative Rebel.
